According its “neighbour” Turkmenistan steps, Tajikistan also decided to open its Internet extension to the public. They signed an agreement with ICANN in 2003, making a very close ccTLDs club with Tajikistan “under contract”. In practice, domain names can be registered from now “first that arrives, first in attention”, into the first level, like “domaine.tj”, for example. It is necessary on the other hand, to appeal to a local Registrar   service since it enlists only last ones into the official centre. Since the TJ acronym doesn’t have evident “ second intentions”, it is always interesting to take into account an alternative to .com for companies or private citizens in search of originality.
