11 - What are the TLDs ?

TLDs are the « Top Level Domains ». Nowadays there are 10 generic TLDs. Three of these aren’t put aside, in the sense that there isn’t any restriction that impede to particulars or the institutions the register of names. Thee three generics are .com, .net and .org, .info, .biz. The four remaining generics are reserved, they are for some organizations that will answer to same criterion already established. They are .int for international organizations ; .edu to high schools that give a title after four years studies and to universities : .gov, reserved to institutions that depend on the Federal Government of the United States of America ; and .mil. that is reserved to the American army.
